Twenty-somethings love writing blogs. It is a staple of our generation. We want to capture this season of our lives through the medium of words. We hope people read. More than that, we hope we find ourselves through the introspection.
I am creating this blog for three reasons. One, because I believe I gain a deeper understanding of who I am when I write. Two, I want people to read. Like any twenty-something, I want to share my life with others.
And three, because I made an impulse decision to create this and spontaneity can be a heck of a drug.
I am a student at the University of Oklahoma. I arrived at OU after turning down offers at two different musical theatre schools. By the end of freshman year, I declared a major in Public Relations with minors in Entrepreneurship and Chinese. Today, I divide my time between two different internships, classes, and chasing after dreams of changing the world.
But above all else, I am an adopted son of God. I believe that Jesus, THE Son of God, came to this earth and perished on the cross for my sins. God loves us, and Jesus’s death and resurrection opened the door for me to start my life over with Him. So I took Him up on His offer, and never looked back.
My name is Nathan. I am a twenty-something from Oklahoma, and I in the pursuit of big dreams in the hope that I can leave this world better than it received me. Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey.
